Some history

In May 2017, i started 3D printing. I decided that i want a really good solidly built 3D printer. After looking around, my decision was to buy a Felix Pro 2. It wasn’t a cheap 3D printer, but it’s a very solid one with high accuracy and has automatic bed leveling. When i want to 3D print, i don’t want to tweak too much everytime i start a print.

In the beginning i had some problems with this printer, but with good help from FelixPrinters, it definitely did its print jobs without problems the years after. Have a look at the FelixPrinters website here.

First new printer

After four years of printing with the Felix Pro 2, i decided i wanted a new, more up to date 3D printer. It wasn’t that i didn’t like the ‘old’ printer anymore. So i decided to buy a Felix Pro 3 Touch with cover unit. I like the design of this 3D printer (it’s almost identical to the Felix Pro 2) and it looks like a nice whole with a cover unit from FelixPrinters.

The A1 Mini Combo

In late 2024, i decided i wanted to test the ‘great’ A1 printer by Bambu Lab, so i did. When i started printing the benchy, it was really that great! It was fast, precise and the result was good. Also the Bambu Studio slicer works really well. The tutorials i made for this slicer are stored in this playlist on my 3D printing channel. I never use the older printers anymore, despite they were good at that time.
